Irrigation audits
Almost 75% of the audits that are
planned to be performed in Greece
have been completed regarding the
field measurements part. All the
farmers, irrigation managers etc will
receive an analytical audit report and
the results will be used to improve the
process.
Web irrigation advices system
P6, ROEDM has published the call for
the installation of the meteorological
stations system in the plain of Arta.
This is a great step for the
development of the system.
LP, TEIEP has collected great interest
from local organisations and farmers
which are willing to host the
meteorological stations of the Arta
plain system. About 73 applications
have been collected up to now for the
20 available stations.

Specialized research
actions
All partners that are involved in
research actions (P3-INEA, P4-
ISPA/CNR and LP-TEIEP) apply the
2014 research work plan.
Action 6.2. Review research
report regarding low water–
demand agricultural crops and
local plants for landscaping
The review has been completed and it
is already available at IRMA website:
The review will be presented at
IRLA2014.
Action 6.3. Evaluation of satellite
images for evapotranspiration
estimation
The satellite images analysis system is
at its final stage and it is already
available to IRMA partners for
evaluation. The system concerns the
determination of a number of
variables, indices and other entities
that are connected with crop
evapotranspiration.
