A number of parallel events were
organised during IRLA2014.
The Hellenic Soil Science Society
(HSSS)organized its biannual national
meeting, which was focused on the
sustainable use of soil resources from
the irrigation and drainage point of
view. The Hellenic Association for ICT
in Agriculture Food and Environment
(HAICTA)presented its work.
ENORASIS FP7 project
(http://www.enorasis.eu/)presented its
outcomes and the very promising
system that has been developed and
evaluated in its framework. FIGARO
FP7 project (http://www.figaro-
irrigation.net/)presented its concept
and the progress that has achieved so
far.
SCIENTACT (Scientact S.A.)
presented sensors for irrigation
monitoring and management.
Hydroponics.gr presented
FraoulaBest ®, its innovative
hydroponic system for strawberry
cultivation in Greece
Netafim (Irricad)presented IRRICAD,
a specialized software for irrigation
systems design
LandCO presented a number of
innovative green infrastructure
projects.
Agrodomi - Kakavas ,the Greek
Delegate of the European Irrigation
Association, presented innovative
irrigation systems and relevant control
devices.
