That was a good opportunity to
present the irrigation information and
scheduling recommendations tool that
was developed in the framework of
ETCP GR-IT 2007-2013 IRMA project
for
the
plain
of
Arta
.

The interest
was very high and it is expected that
the tool will be used by many farms
during the next irrigation period.

Dr. Pantelis Barouchas, organized two
events, one in Amaliada, (Department
of Agricultural Technology of TEI of
Western Greece) and another one in
Arta, Department of Agricultural
Technology of TEI of Epirus), in the
framework of the World Soil Day 2015.
The outcomes of ETCP GR-IT 2007-
2013 IRMA project were presented in
both events.

stakeholders are already presented in
the relevant database of IRMA, while
more than 1200 people receive the
project’s newsletter. Also more than
100 people visit every day the site of
the project and its social media pages.
