Introduction
The project «IRMA - Efficient Irrigation
Management Tools for Agricultural
Cultivations and Urban Landscapes»
is funded by the European Regional
Development Fund (ERDF) and
National Funds of Greece and Italy in
the framework of the European
Territorial Cooperation Programme

. The project’s
total budget is 1.398.874,50€ and the
implementation period is 24 months,
starting from April 2013.
This (10
th
)
newsletter aims to present
the progress of the project's actions
during the 13
th
month of the
implementation period (April 2014). At
this point the project is at a very good
way and has excellent potentials for
applying all the planned activities and
achieve the relevant goals. The
problem is that most of this progress is
based on the work done by TEIEP
(LP), INEA (P3) and ISPA/CNR (P4).
The recent activation of AEPDE (P2) -
after the approval of the modification
request- will bring new dynamics in the
project. More work is expected from
ROP (P5) and ROEDM (P6), as up to
now they have been stacked by
bureaucratic issues. Their contribution
is very critical and they are expected
to start implementing their activities in
practice.
